Robert Bob M. Lewis, 85, of Darrington, Wash., passed away Sept. 2, 2007.
Bob was born Oct. 1, 1921, in Lincolnton, Ga., and had lived in Darrington for 68 years. Bob worked for the Darrington School District as a mechanic.
Bob leaves his wife, Shirley Lewis; two sons, Robert G. (Lisa) Lewis, of Marysville, Wash., and Michael (Myra) Lewis, of Darrington; two sisters, Nan Wheeler, of Milton, Wash., and Nellie Long, of Darrington; and three grandchildren, Chase Lewis, Tazz Lewis and Tanielle Lewis.
He was preceded in death by three brothers; two sisters; and three grandsons, Dylan Lewis, Robert Michael Lewis and John Paul Lewis.
A graveside service was held at 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 7, 2007, at the Darrington Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dylan Lewis Scholarship fund.
