ARLINGTON The gunmetal gray skate park in Arlington looks a bit like the Los Angeles river in the movie Terminator 2. The bland color and cold feel of concrete jumps out at a passerby, particularly in contrast with the lush grass of nearby baseball fields. Four Lakewood girls made the list when coaches of the Cascade Conference announced their picks for the spring 2007 all-conference team.
The June 2 ballgame between the Stilly Valley and Marysville Little League fastpitch teams came down to walks. Stilly Elite pitcher Lynsey Amundson held Marysville to only two walks whereas her counterpart Kaylie Sigfried conceded many free passes that turned into runs for the Elite.
