Alice Katherine Ford, 65, of Marysville, Wash., passed away Dec. 28, 2006, from a very courageous battle of cancer.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Ford, in 1980; her mother and father, Susie and Victor Davis; and also a brother, Dave Davis, in May 2006.
She leaves behind brother, Ralph (Eleanor) Davis, of Tulare, Calif.; sister, Vickey (Mark) McKinley, of Santa Maria, Calif.; five children, Kathy Ford, of Moses Lake, Wash., Robie Rose, of Arlington, Wash., Laura Steinback, of Arlington, Vince (Shannon) Ford, of Granit Falls, Wash., and Victor Ford, of Everett; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
We would like to give special thanks to Jenny Brown from Hospice, Forestview Nursing Home where she had to spend her last week of life. You all were so caring and supportive to both her and her family. Thanks also to all her close friends of the Wishing Well Apartments who were there for her and us. Another special thanks to Dons Restaurant of Marysville where our mother worked for 10 years. The owners, Keith and Kris Crow, and all her co-workers for the love and help you gave to Mom and to us. The three of us could not have done it without you.

A potluck memorial service will be held at Dons Restaurant in Marysville from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20.
