Betty J. Brown was born Nov. 26, 1926, in Cimarron, Kan. She moved to Marysville, Wash., in 1960.
She passed away Oct. 23, 2006, in Snohomish, Wash.
Betty is survived by her son, Kelly (Kathy) Brown, her sister, Marie Butts, three granddaughters, numerous great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Brown; and six sisters and four brothers.
Betty retired from New York Life Insurance in Everett after 25 years of service. She was also a lifetime member of Women of the Moose of Marysville.
Viewing was held from 6 – 8 p.m., Oct. 25, 2006, and from 9 – 10 a.m., at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home in Marysville, with Funeral Services held at 10 a.m., Oct. 26, 2006.
The family wishes to give special thanks to the care staff at Merry Haven Care Center in Snohomish.
Christ extends the urgent call to each one of us at our appointed time. Betty has answered and as the clear clarion call echoes through the valleys, God has taken another of His children home. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
