Douglas Allen Heimbigner

Douglas Allen Heimbigner, 42, of Marysville, Wash., passed away on Feb. 4, 2007, at home.
He was born on Sept. 6, 1964, to Solomon and Grace Larson Heimbigner, in Yakima, Wash.
He moved to Walla Walla, Wash., in 1967, where he attended local schools, and graduated from Walla Walla High School in 1983. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Navy, where he was stationed in Guam and served six months in the Persian Gulf. After his military service, he settled in Everett, and worked for Boeing. He later moved to Marysville, where he resided at the time of his death.
He enjoyed music, fishing and the Mariners. He was a devoted father and loved his children deeply.
Survivors include one son, Christopher Heimbigner; four daughters; Amber Heimbigner, Sara Heimbigner, Emillie Heimbigner and Gracie Heimbigner, all of Marysville; his mother, Grace Reinland of Walla Walla; his sister, Karen Heimbigner of College Place, Wash.; his brother, Steve Heimbigner, and his wife, Christine of Caldwell, Idaho; five nieces; and one nephew.
His father preceded him in death in 2001.
A memorial service was held at 11 a.m., Monday, March 5, 2007, at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Wash., where he will be buried.
