Jack Vern Parker

Jack Vern Parker was born March 19, 1921, and went home to his Lord and Savior on Dec. 27, 2006.
Jack served in the United States Air Force during WWII in 1940 until receiving an honorable discharge in 1945.
Jack has resided in Marysville, Wash., for the past 45 years. He retired as a machinist in 1986.
He leaves his loving wife, JoAnn, of 59 years; son, Douglas Parker; daughter, Susan (Jerry) Bailey, Cathy (Tim) McCarty, and Trudy (Gary) Crain; seven grandchildren, Angie (Johnson) Albin, Jeremy Bailey, Aaron Bailey, Beth (Bailey) Readel, Matthew Parker, Wes Parker, and Terra Crain. He is also survived by his sister, Shirley Gallanger.
A memorial service to celebrate Jacks life was held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007, at the Mountain View Presbyterian Church, Marysville, where he was a charter member since 1965.
The family would especially like to thank the staff at Marysville Care Center for their compassionate care during his nine-month stay.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Mountain View Presbyterian Church or your favorite charity.
