Roger Allen Castle

Husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, friend, redneck, charmer, good ol boy. Mr. Stockholder, chairman of the board, log truck driver, tugboat cook, jack-of-all-trades, man of conviction, salt of the earth, Marine.
Roger was born on July 29, 1941, in Everett, and passed away at a hospital in Everett on Oct. 5, 2006. At his side was Judy, his loving wife of 42 years.
Roger is also survived by his only son, Andy (Erin); grandson, Huntley; sister, Marcia (Norwood); and mother-in-law, Peggy Grandma Tracy. He was idolized by nieces, nephews and assorted family members.
Roger was preceded in death by father, Harold Castle; mother, Ruth Ann Castle; and sister, Ann BAnn Rommerdahl.
Graveside Inurnment Services with military honors were held at
11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006, at Evergreen Cemetery in Everett, followed by a Memorial Service at
12:30 p.m., at the First Presbyterian Church in Everett.

Of all the accomplishments in his life, Roger was most proud of his son, Andy. His chest grew even larger upon the arrival of My Main Man Huntley. A man larger than life, Roger never knew a stranger. He was loyal, and possessed a true heart of gold. A friend to many, known to most, loved and now missed by all.
