Karla Sue Schaaf

Karla Sue Schaaf of Everett, peacefully entered eternal life on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Karla was born Aug. 12, 1944, in Ravenna, Ohio.
She lived her life full of interest and great passion. She was an avid reader, a lover of all people, animals, fish, flowers in her gardens, art, music and dancing. She cherished the harmony and balance in all things. She was an ever-loving mother, grandmother, cherished friend and an inspiration to us all. Though her physical presence will be greatly missed by all, the vision of her sparkling blue eyes will illuminate our lives forever.
Karla is survived by her best friend and spouse, James Edwards; her four loving children, Steven (Barbie) Storch, Kortney Schaaf, Michele (Brandon) Hubert, and Ginger (Dave) Gregg; her truly inspired grandchildren, J.B. Tyler Suddith; Brandyn, Daniel and Alyse Storch; Brandyce and Bryleigh Hubert; her sister, Maria Stephenson; her nieces, Angela (Chris) Wall, Jordan Stephenson; her nephews, Bart (Debbie) Eckhart, Greg (Kathy) Eckhart and her many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Helen Schaaf; brother, Peter Schaaf; sister, Patricia Eckhart; and nephew, Adam Eckhart.
An outdoor funeral Memorial in Karlas honor was held at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006, at Everett Legion Memorial Park, 145 Alverson Blvd. A Mass intention in Karlas memory was held at noon, Oct. 30, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2619 Cedar St., Everett.
