ARLINGTON There was no scorekeeping when the Arlington baseball team faced Lakewood in a scrimmage at the Arlington baseball fields, but the rainy match-up March 10 gave the players valuable on-field time and coach Doug Plucker a chance to evaluate individual performances in competition.

They trailed 22-28 after managing only three points in the second quarter. Shorecrests pressure defense and full-court trapping made it difficult for Arlington to find good scoring opportunities in the first half.
